To do what is interesting and challenging is the main reward; money just keeps you from begging to survive. To do something boring and tedious requires substantial financial rewards.
Sounds good, but for so many people it is just the opposite. So many people toil for a meager existence. It just doesn't seem fair, but you can't see it in their faces - they are still happy!
I am in between, I always have very interesting jobs, with so many challenges, I get paid well enough and have no complaints. I just feel bad sometimes that so many people work so hard and get really nothing.
It is our duty to survive and climb up to our own comfort level. Most importantly is to be happy, without hurting the prospects of other of course.
